The German furniture industry experienced a 6.2 % recovery in total revenues to €1.572bn in September after falling in August. The German furniture industry grew substantially domestically and abroad in September 2014. The industry enjoyed a 4.9 % growth in domestic revenues compared with the same month last year to €1.107bn, according to figures from the German Federal Statistical Office that were compiled by the German Furniture Industry Federation. Foreign turnover was 9.2 % higher than September 2013 at €465.1m.
