Välinge Innovation has signed a license agreement with Södra Wood, one of Sweden´s largest companies in sawn timber and interior wood products. The agreement entitles Södra Wood to manufacture and sell the patent pending system for premium decking by Välinge Innovation under the brand ZENSE™.
“This is an innovative product like no other on the market. The interest shown in ZENSE has been great and we have already signed agreements with several of the major retailers”, says Södra Wood’s Scandinavian Marketing and Sales Manager Fredrik Gustavson.
ZENSE™ is the brand from Välinge for a premium decking solution that resembles the look and feel of an indoor flooring. The decking features a profile enabling installation without any visible screws on the board surface. Simultaneously it prevents objects to fall down between the boards while still providing good ventilation and water drainage.

Södra will manufacture the new decking at the company’s facilities in Kisa, Sweden, and expects the products to be available from mid-March.
