On October 24, the German Design Counsil announced the winners of the 2017 edition of the German Design Award. Among the winners was the Woodura® surface technology by Välinge applied on hardwood flooring.
The German Design Award, organized by the German Design Counsil and run by a highly esteemed international jury, honors projects that truly represent pioneering contributions to the German and international design landscape. Woodura® hardwood flooring was selected as a winner in the Special Mention Excellent Product Design Material category. This is the third award Woodura® receives in 2016, after also having received the innovations@DOMOTEX and Schweighofer Prize earlier this year.
“We are obviously very happy to receive this award. While, Woodura has already been recognized for its technical features we also get a lot of positive feedback from the market regarding its design features.
