At the Domotex 2014, MeisterWerke Schulte GmbH presented the current offering from their premium MEISTER brand. It also included a promising world première of the new type of flooring “Lindura”.
Lindura is the new high-tech wooden flooring from MeisterWerke. Wood surface layers are merged in combination with the so-called Wood Powder technology to create an exceptionally resistant surface. In this context, the fine wood powder enters every pore of the wood and the carrier core and is liquefied under pressure and heat. Through this process the wood surface layer and the HDF core are consistently stabilised and impregnated. During use, the vintage visuals are further strengthened and the floor gains an attractive patina. This results in lively to rustic, brushed and naturally oiled country planks with a unique used look. The Lindura products open up an entirely new dimension for wooden floors in the context of durability and indentation insensitivity.
MEISTER is lining up for the start with a varied collection of country planks: The “Lindura HD 300 wooden floors“ range offers the robust Lindura planks in two formats: L 2.20 x W 27 cm and L 2.60 m x W 32 cm. These floors stand out with their rustic visuals, featuring knot holes and cracks, and are available in ten characterful surfaces with two larch and eight oak versions. “Impressive surface structures of this kind would be very hard to realise on conventional wooden flooring,” explains Dominik Theseling, Product Manager for Parquet at MeisterWerke. “The wood powder proportions stabilise the surface layer of the Lindura planks and also create the attractive effect of the dark filled areas, with which the knotted areas are visually accentuated. And the best news: the retail price for these Château planks is in the affordable range and the new product type is therefore suited to large scale use.” With its low construction height of 11 cm and its considerable durability, Lindura represents a welcome enhancement for modern flooring designs, including in property business and shop designs.
