Having successfully organised IMOB Furniture Fair for 3 years in a row and reinforced its position in this area, ITE Group plc, targets to continue the same concept with the recently launched Istanbul Furniture Fair (IFF).
IFF, whereby all types of ready-to-use home furniture products and office products were exhibited, confirmed its status as an effective route to Turkish Market. The event offered close to 10.000 targeted visitors in a short space of time. The house furnishings and office section was held in halls 9, 10 – 11 at the Istanbul Expo Centre and took place from 28 January to 01 February, 2014, and hosted close to 100 pioneer companies on a total exhibition area of 15.000 m2.
IFF and IFF Office Section also hosted various International Hosted Buyer Groups. The important buyers from Iran , Bulgaria , Lebanon, Jordon and Palestine had visited the exhibition and held B2B meetings with Turkish exhibitors.
IFF offered new furniture trends in product design, dimension, detail, colour, functionality, comfort, quality, elegance and innovation.
The Office section of the fair was supported by Office Furniture Industry and Businessmen Association (OMSIAD) of Turkey. 45 companies exhibited in office section where 21 of whom were OMSIAD members. Office furniture, office furniture design, education materials, outdoor furniture and corporate furniture designs that were exhibited in IFF OFFICE section helped the industry’s 2014 planning.
Famous architect, industrial designer, sculptor and trainer Yılmaz Zenger’s new office concept and office furniture designs were exhibited as well and provided ideas to the international visitors about the future trends.
